Describe your relationship to life: We have a love/hate relationship.

Describe your relationship to money: It must not like me too much because it never seems to stay around.

What do you care most about? My family and my future. Right now my life is mostly to better my future.

What can’t you live without? Food. I love food and I love to eat ... even when I’m not hungry. I couldn’t live without my phone either because that’s how I stay in touch with my family.

What do you buy or pay for that you could (and maybe should) live without? Fast food.

What would you be doing if you didn’t have to make money? Actually enjoying life.

The last text I sent... was to my mom asking her for money.

Favorite meal: Every meal is my favorite!

The last vacation I took... was last March to Puerto Rico.

What's the best advice anyone's ever given you, and who gave it to you? "Pray about it." Everyone has said that to me at one point or another.

What’s the worst advice anyone’s given you? "Do what makes you happy."

I feel most at home... when I'm with my family.

I feel most like an outsider... when the people I’m surrounded by don’t talk to me or are talking about something I don’t know about, or when I’m the only minority around.

My friends... are fun to be around and encouraging.

Money is... a piece of paper that controls your life.

How do you get what you want? I don’t.

I love... to travel.

What's your American Dream? I guess to own a beautiful house with a pool in southern California, be married with two children and have a doctorate degree.

$ 30,000 would be enough to pay off my credit card bills, pay off my car loan, and pay for my college tuition.

My earliest memory about money was: My great grandma used to put $5 in my birthday cards and I thought I could get so much with it.

Who do you turn to or where do you look for guidance when you have financial questions? My parents.

What financial rules or recommendations seems sound advice to you? If you don't need it, don’t buy it. If you have extra money, save it.

What financial rules or advice seem absurd to you? If you want it, buy it. I’ve heard that so many times and think it is very irresponsible because it will lead to debt.

What do you collect? Water bottles and shot glasses.

Favorite superhero: Spiderman.

Favorite possession: My dignity.

What one thing defines you: My faith.
